Scroll is a small, specialist content design agency that does big, impactful work. We are trusted suppliers, working in the sector since 2004.
We are fast, flexible and friendly
We’re not hampered by big corporate process, so we are fast and flexible.
We change with your project’s changing demands: scaling teams up and down, bringing on different specialists to meet your needs, changing contracts, turning on a dime. This is why we get hired for high-stakes, cross-government work, such as on Brexit and the Covid pandemic.
We value good, sustainable work
We pick and choose the projects we work on. We absolutely do not operate a ‘bums on seats’ policy – we work hard to match the right person to your role in terms of skills, experience and cultural fit.
We also believe in proper knowledge transfer. We don’t deliver, hand over and run – we upskill your teams as we go, through informal training, crits, and flexible mentoring support.
We look after our people
We work with around 250 contractors (affectionately known as Scrollies). We pay our Scrollies properly and treat them with fairness and integrity.
We know everyone who works for us, and understand their skills and experience.
We’re proud to have a roster of long-term, loyal (and brilliant) Scrollies, who work with us again and again.
And you get the benefit of all this pooled experience and expertise.
We look after you properly through the life of your project
Despite our small size, we have a large core team. We give our admin and account management the same attention to quality and detail as our services.
Account management – we are always available to clients and use any communication channels you want.
Project management – we design trackers for every project so that clients can interrogate progress against budget and deliverables at any point in the month, not just at milestones.
Security clearance – we offer clearance to BPSS as standard (and can help with higher clearance).
IR35 – we can provide people for work inside and outside IR35 and have stringent IR35 and tax assessments.
Contracts – we will use contracts you issue us, or provide our own contracts for you to sign; whatever works best.
We can either work on site with your project team, or work in discrete off-site teams. We will comply with any vetting, encryption and other security measures you require.
We pay fairly and promptly (and expect the same)
Scroll is a member of the Living Wage Foundation. We’re also signed up to The Prompt Payment Code (PPC) – this is a voluntary code of practice for businesses that aims to ensure small businesses are paid promptly, in order to protect their cash flow.
